All along, in the stages of industrial production and consumption, China has been following an extensive development path. With society's increasing emphasis on ecological environment and growing awareness of sustainable development, many industrial enterprises have begun to pursue green and circular development.

  During the investigation, it was found that the industrial aluminum profile industry actively responds to the government's call for energy conservation and emission reduction, strengthens equipment and process upgrades, continuously improves resource utilization efficiency, and synchronizes energy saving, emission reduction, and clean production, thereby achieving good economic, environmental, and social benefits.

  It is understood that aluminum is a very abundant metal element on Earth, ranking second in metal reserves. However, it was not until the late 19th century that aluminum emerged as a competitive metal in the industrial field and became popular worldwide.

  In the production and processing of industrial aluminum profile products, multiple steps are required, including aluminum ingot melting and casting, mold development, and aluminum rod extrusion. As a key raw material for industrial aluminum profiles, aluminum rods—especially those made of high-performance alloy components—play a crucial role in product quality. The production of aluminum rods involves melting, purification, impurity removal, degassing, slag removal, and casting processes, which are the most energy-consuming stages in industrial aluminum profile production. However, the industry mostly uses fuel oil to produce aluminum rods. Due to factors such as market prices, environmental protection, and production safety, there is an urgent need to replace the original petroleum gas with higher-quality industrial fuel natural gas. Compared to liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied natural gas has advantages such as lower cost, stable combustion, lower exhaust emissions, and higher safety, making it an ideal fuel for melting aluminum rods.

  Since the industrial aluminum profile industry is capital-intensive, some small and medium-sized enterprises are constrained by funding limitations, outdated processes and equipment, and low resource utilization. Coupled with protection of local interests, some enterprises still face problems of high input, high consumption, and low efficiency. It will take time to completely eliminate these backward production capacities and improve energy use efficiency.

  In the industrial aluminum profile industry, the energy consumption of aluminum melting furnaces used in the aluminum rod melting process accounts for nearly 40% to 50% of the total energy consumption in industrial aluminum profile processing. Technological transformation and innovation of melting furnaces and other equipment are effective measures to save energy and reduce production costs for enterprises.

  Experts point out that any technology, product, or service that can reduce pollution and decrease the depletion of natural resources can be called clean technology. This technology enables enterprises to achieve better economic benefits at lower costs, greatly helping them reduce or eliminate negative environmental impacts, improve resource utilization, and enhance their social responsibility.
